It’s getting to be crunch time for the Towne Cinema in Watertown. The theater has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help it replace two of its three screens with digital projection systems. As of 2 p.m. Friday, it had raised about $55,000 of its $70,000 goal with four days left to go. But general manager Matt Sampon told me earlier this week that he’s confident the theater will make its goal. (Read More)
